DynaX Dynamic Hand Orthosis

DynaX™ Glove is a dynamic extension glove designed to aid neurological and orthopaedic patients in achieving optimal finger and thumb extension through its patented fabric spring technology. It facilitates the positioning of fingers into extension, thereby preparing patients for functional activities. Embedded with air bladders, which serves as fabric springs, the glove allows the patients voluntarily flex their fingers to grasp object, while the air bladders assist with re-opening the hand to release the object. The air bladders are inflated through a manual inflation bulb. The air pressure is adjustable, which allows the customization of assistance based on the client’s conditions (muscle tone). Therefore, the device can serve as a dynamic hand orthosis or a resting hand splint by adjusting the resistance level of the air bladders.
